QRTech

The welcome starts with being connected.

Help guests join the right network without reading a long password aloud. Use a native Wi-Fi code on a sign, or place Wi-Fi information inside a more useful guest guide.

Put the network details in a code.

Enter the network name, password and supported security setting. A native Wi-Fi QR contains those credentials directly, so compatible phones can offer to join the network without first loading a web page.

Use a guest network you are authorized to share. A visible Wi-Fi code shares its credentials with anyone who can read it; a decorative code is not a way to keep the password secret.

A Wi-Fi sign or a guest page?

Choose a standalone Wi-Fi code when joining the network is the whole job. A printed Wi-Fi sign can sit where guests naturally look for connection details. Poster Studio provides editable artwork on Premium.

Inside a custom guest page, a Wi-Fi block can sit beside the welcome, house guidance and host contact. Visitors open the page first, then use the Wi-Fi information or network code. Make sure guests have a way to reach that page before connecting to your network.

New password? New printed Wi-Fi code.

Because the code stores the network information, updating the resource does not rewrite paper already printed. Download the new native Wi-Fi code and replace old signs whenever the network name, password or security changes.

An ordinary shortlink to a hosted guest page can show updated published information. That is a different mechanism from a native Wi-Fi code, and it is important to know which one you are placing on the sign.

Try it as a guest would.

Confirm the network is reachable where the sign will stand. Test the printed code with compatible phones that are not already connected and retain readable network details as an alternative.

  1. Choose the Wi-Fi creation flow and enter the guest network details.
  2. Download a code with strong contrast and a clear quiet zone.
  3. Test joining the network at the actual location.
  4. Keep the sign and any hosted guest-page information in sync.

Questions, answered.

Can I count native Wi-Fi scans?

No. Native Wi-Fi credentials do not go through an online redirect, so QRTech cannot measure those scans as online QR-channel visits.

Does every phone automatically join?

No. Support and confirmation screens depend on the phone and its software. Test with the devices your guests are likely to use.
