Help visitors find the right door.

An address is sometimes only the start. A location page gives a place its own QRTech-hosted format with a map and directions action, so visitors can check where to go before setting off.

Fictional outdoor event image used to illustrate finding a venue

A practical example

A fictional weekend market could place a code on its poster for the courtyard entrance rather than only the building’s street address. A written note could identify the accessible entrance.

Make the scan useful

Check the pin at the exact visitor entrance and print plain-language arrival details beside the code. Test directions from the travel modes your audience is likely to use.

  1. Set and verify the place and map pin.
  2. Check the place name and address, and print entrance guidance beside the code.
  3. Publish and test the map and directions action on a phone.

What to check before sharing

Map tiles and directions depend on external services, device connectivity and visitor consent where external media is used. A pin does not verify venue opening hours or route accessibility.

Current plans and limits

Is the location page Free forever?

Location is a Premium type. New accounts include the current Premium trial; continued use afterward needs an active eligible plan.

Can I add an entrance note?

Use a clear place name and address, and put extra entrance guidance beside the printed code. Confirm the pin with an on-site test.
