A practical example
A fictional ceramics studio could put “Ask about a workshop” on a card and prefill the subject “Workshop enquiry.” The sender can add their preferred date and question in their own words.
Make the scan useful
Choose a mailbox you check. A useful subject tells you why someone wrote; keep the body optional and avoid asking people to disclose sensitive details in a public prompt.
- Enter your email address, subject and optional draft body.
- Save and scan the code on a device with mail available.
- Tap the email action and inspect the recipient before sharing.
What to check before sharing
The visitor needs an available mail application or handler. A prepared draft is not delivered automatically, and QRTech cannot guarantee the sender finishes it.
Does a scan send an email?
No. The visitor reaches a QRTech action page, taps the email button, then chooses whether to send in their mail app.
Can the visitor change the prepared subject?
Yes. The email opens as a draft in the visitor’s app, where they can edit it before sending.
